Every year the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce hosts a fun golf play day. It is a great way for the different businesses that are part of the Chamber of Commerce to get together and meet each other in a relaxed environment.
This year’s golf play day was on Friday, April 22nd, and professionals from a variety of different businesses in our community participated. This is also the first year CompuType IT Solutions joined their ranks. Our own Amy Yan, Coordinator of Sales & Service, represented our business at the golf play day. Thanks, Amy!
The Collinsville Chamber Golf Play Day is a great event filled with good-spirited fun and a full 18 rounds on the Arlington Green Golf Course in Granite City, IL. Awards were given after the game and it was such a wonderful experience to meet so many different people involved in the business community.
Our sales rep, Amy Yan, put it best when she stated, “It was a great way to meet other business professionals in the community.”
Events such as these are great for not only building relationships with other professionals, but also for boosting business. The Collinsville Chamber of Commerce sets up activities like their annual Golf Play Day in the hopes that local businesses will network and create a stronger local economy.
We think that’s a wonderful idea. Not only was it a fantastic day enjoying some healthy activity in the sunshine, but it gave us the chance to connect with other businesses and professionals in our area. We made some great new relationships and hope to use them to benefit our community.
Until then, we shall continue to provide high-quality IT services both to our local community and more far-reaching locales. We also hope to participate actively in our Chamber of Commerce, promoting other local businesses and helping our local economy.
When we can provide a good service and help our community at the same time, everybody wins. There’s nothing better than that!
